Delete Online Abuse

We know that online abuse is a big issue being discussed within our support community. In fact, 40% of you tell us that you’ve experienced it at some point. In fact, during the pandemic alone, we found that some forms of online hate speech had increased by almost 2,000%.

Sadly, the issue is growing and we understand your frustration when it comes to trying to get abusive content removed from social media. Often it can be a lengthy and difficult process.

We hear you and we’re here to help. Today, in partnership with our friends at got2b, we are launching the Delete Online Abuse tool. Now you can report abusive social media content directly to Ditch the Label and our team of mentors will work to have the content quickly removed. We have special relationships with all major social networks and can even have content that can’t be reported removed.

Together with got2b, we are proudly standing united to make the internet a better, safer space for all. We are incredibly proud to be partnering with such an iconic brand.

Using our free Delete Online Hate tool, anybody can report abusive content directly to Ditch the Label within minutes. Through our special relationships with all social networks we are able to have abusive content removed very quickly. These include:

  • Twitter
  • TikTok
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • YouTube

Users of the tool have previously praised us for being able to have stubborn abuse and users promptly removed.

We are incredibly grateful to the fantastic support provided by got2b, which has enabled us to launch this powerful new initiative in both English speaking and German markets.

If you, or somebody you know is impacted by online abuse, please consider reporting it to us at www.DitchtheLabel.org/report/ and we’ll work quickly to have it removed.
